They essentially control the land and secure leases so that they can drill for oil and gas

Typically, the landowner’s job is to negotiate and finalize agreements with landowners who have mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for workers (man-camps), assemble the rigs, and drill the wells themselves, especially in remote locations.

They are also part fixers, problem solvers, and facilitators. The show is so good so far, the one feeling I can’t shake is the daughter.

The shower scene, the talking about sex with her father, showing her baldness!

In the show they say the daughter is 17 and then they sexually manipulate her to the extreme! All of these scenes have 0 connection to the story and make it hard to watch.

It could have been easily prevented by saying he’s 18, you’re 18, and still in high school!

I get what they’re doing with the character, the daughter is going down the wrong path, her father is trying to get her back on the right path. I wish they would rewrite his script and not let the editors know how this got through.
