It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they think will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). I always get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But this cast really seemed to pull it off and hit the nail on the head. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this. Great pacing, appropriate tension, lots of comic relief. At least once I wasn’t expecting a twist ending and every story seemed to be resolved in the last episode. I really enjoyed it! I would absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this new fast-paced world of streaming.
