Ethereum Synchronization Problem: Slow Journey with Bitcoin-QT
As a cryptocurrency enthusiast, I am not a stranger to disappointments that are rising to maintain the high efficiency Ethereum node. However, because of my latest experience, I am disappointed and worried about the speed of my node synchronization.
After 14 weeks, waiting for my node to meet, I achieved a worrying 0.01% synchronization rate per hour. It may not seem so much, but the cumulative effect is devastating. In fact, she estimated that my node will be completely synchronized for at least 12 weeks, which means that I will still be almost two months behind.
The slow percentage of synchronization per hour only increases the insult of the injury. From a perspective, the average speed of the Bitcoin-QT node synchronization is about 0.1% per hour. My situation is an extreme example of how fast a slow node can take even the optimal time zones.
So what lies at this sluggish pace? There are several reasons why you can contribute to the poor speed of my node synchronization:
* Network congestion
: The Ethereum network is known for its high levels of congestion, especially during high activity periods. This can lead to data transmission delay and slow synchronization process.
* Node configuration problems
: My node configuration can cause synchronization at an inconsistent speed. Factors such as different cash software or incorrect settings could be contributed to this problem.
* Network instability : The Ethereum network is prone to discontinuation, forks and other disorders that can disrupt synchronization efforts.
To solve slow synchronization, I will need to re -evaluate my node configuration and take steps to optimize its performance. This may include changing the Wallet software settings, upgrading the node software, or even the renewal of hardware.
