Many of the negative critics claim to have direct subject matter experience. Even though “Lioness” contains enough technical errors to prevent it from qualifying as a specialty documentary, there are so many more details that are correct – some of them shocking – that it surpasses most of the programming you’d compare it to by a long shot.
